Our school is slated for upgrading and re-building under MOE’s PRIME (Programme for Rebuilding and Improving Schools) initiative from Jan 2010 to Dec 2011.

As a government-aided school, we need to raise 5% of the cost for standard facilities, and 100% of the cost for all non-standard facilities. That is a total of $5m.

Over the past 75 years, many alumnae have given leadership, service, time and money in support of our beloved alma mater. They have helped to shape our school into what it is today. It is now our turn to contribute and be role models for future generations of St. Nicholas girls.

We need every St Nicks girl to come forward and help the school raise funds. Please join in the fundraising programme.

者在维多利亚街，或者在宏茂桥的校舍读书、参加活动、听校长
和老师们的唠叨，跟同学们一起度过纯真的年代，学习温文尔
雅、 高贵大方。

我们在学校时，师长、校友姐姐和好多家长给予我们支持与帮
助，陪伴我们成长。现在姐姐们在社会上工作，有自己的事业和
家庭，各有成就。这是学校的培养，因此饮水思源，我们也愿意
为妹妹们做点有益于你们成长的事...

Dear 妹妹们 ,

We are writing as your seniors who once passed through the St Nicholas school gates like you do today – whether at the old CHIJMES building at Victoria Street or the current Ang Mo Kio campus.

As we recall our school days, many delightful memories (e.g. gentle reminders from our principal and teachers to be” 温文尔雅 高贵大方”) spring to mind. Our teachers, alumnae and parents have always given their best to nurture and groom St Nicholas girls into well-rounded young ladies. Now that many of us have successful careers and happy families, we are grateful for what St Nicholas has done for us, and we want to give back to the school ( 饮水思源 ) by doing our part to nurture you – the future alumnae.
